Hi
First, Americana, if you position yourself in front of the driver's left rear wheel and look rearward, there should be a plate on the left of you mounted on the transmission (I hope the pic helps). The plate has the tractor number, engine number, model and unit numbers.
Second, I can't seem to make sense of the numbers. I've read that the SN should be either 9 or 13 digits. Mine is 7.
Could someone please help me with deciphering the numbers?
Thanks
Matthew
Thanks, Matthew. Genuinely appreciate the pic. After having no luck whatsoever in the past few months and near certain I was loosing my mind, I asked the dealer to look since I dropped it off for service. They confirmed that the plate (either the one nea the transmission or the one under the left foot board.....it's been known to be in both locations) is missing! Why someone wouold have removed it is beyond me. I have the documentation from the previous owner so there's no chance it's stolen, thankfully, but unfortunately even the documentation doesn't reference the year. The Operators Manual is for a range of years which isn't helpful at all. In any case, thankfully many of the parts are interchangeable throughout the production years so no harm no foul. Wish I could help on the SN but I honestly have no idea. Hopefully someone else can chime in. Thanks again, all the best.
