But what I came here to report was that I got the 'Internal Server Error' yesterday, a moment after midnight, when I entered an edit to a post I had put up just before midnight. (PDT). The edit failed several times and returned that error notice. Then I went independently to the thread using a new window and found the post had not been changed. A few minutes the attempted edit posted correctly.
I wonder if the daily backup is run at that hour.

I got the same thing a couple of times today
We changed the Top Posters page to redirect to the FAQ. So for the next couple of days as we do a little fixing of things we have to disable some of the pages that were causing the bigger problems.
Sorry that didn't get posted up when we changed it. But rest assured it's us, not you.

No, it's not supposed to be working. We haven't looked into it because it's not as critical as other things on the server.

According to who? There has to a wise guy in every crowd.
I don't look at if often, just noticed it the other day so that kinda tells you there, but now it's driving me nuts. Can't explain why, but it is.... I know there are bigger fish to fry though. That is certainly not the area that keeps the site running.

We definitely have other things to go on. What probably will happen is we'll just remove that link. At least, for now. Maybe adding it back in later.

Removing it for now seems like the best plan, I just hope you put it back. I really do like to look and see who the all-time posters are and stuff. You guys do a great job with the site and I know I speak for the masses when I say thank you.
