Service Manual for GC1700 series and Engine is awesome!

I ordered the service manuals last week, should be here soon. Summit Racing sells red Zerk fitting covers that in addition to keeping them clean might make them easier to see, once we find them all.

I think I need them in hot pink with streamers attached. I'm still convinced I have not yet found all the zerk fittings on my tractor.

Q- did you buy the red covers over the counter at Summit Racing in Sparks?

I've used them on my old F250 and don't see why they wouldn't work on our GC's. Keeps the Zerks clean.

Langanobob, Can you tell me what the service manual costs? I can not find it online at all! Will be buying tractor soon and would like to know what I should "expect" to pay for it.

I had the dealer throw it in but I think it's around $120...just make sure to make it part of the deal....

When you order the manual from AGCO, they give you two options. You can buy just the engine and tractor manual for about $60. Or, you can buy the manuals bound in a deluxe 3-ring binder for $120!

I supplied my own binder.

Question... Does the tractor manual include info on BH and FEL? Or, is that another separate purchase?

I got the "deluxe" version (with binder) and my parts manual at the same time. It does not, unfortunately, cover the FEL or BH, only the tractor itself, but it's pretty complete.
