JJ the manual seems to have originally been written in french for people who already know how to set these up, then translated- in short not too detailed. The reason i thought the pressure might not have been set is that the motor appeared to have been in the original packaging from the manufacturer and the paint on the adjustment screws is pristine.

i would have tested the pressure today but the gauge i ordered has 1/4 npt not 3/8 so i need a adapter.

i got things working but have a slight leak at the joint between motor and the #10 boss o-ring fitting. I am a bit confused as to torque to use as the motor instructions state a max of 8 in-lbs and the on-line numbers i find are circa 50 ft-lbs -- a huge difference.
i guess a phone call is in my future

ok it seems my reading comprehension sucks- did not get enough sleep last. the fine print indicates what i thought was in- lb was actually daNM and that works out to 52 ft-lbs so i can use more force- off i go

and now leak is gone-next time reading glasses first time
