I just purchased a 200cx loader. My dealer will take $200 off the price if I do the setup myself. Just wondering if anyone has done this on their own and how difficult it is. As far as the frame it seems quite simply. What concerns me is getting the loader on the stand to mount on the tractor. I saw one on a pallet and it looks like the stand is in the working position from the factory. I need to know if the loader can be set on the ground to be mounted or has to be put on the tractor to unlatch the stand.

Does anyone know how heavy the loader is and can it be moved around by two men? Also will I need to get more hydraulic fluid to top up the tractor after setup?

I don't mind spending the time to do this myself to save $200 but don't want to run into unexpected problems along the way. Thanks for the help.

I just did the same thing, and if you take everything off of the pallet separately, you can do that. The heaviest item is the main section which contains the arms and the bucket and frame attachments. Once i get the installation instructions for the frame, the I will finish installing by moving the bucket and the main arm section off of my trailer - it is a two (be very careful and be very strong) or 3 person (safer) job to do that. The bucket is definitely a two person, where as the arms are a 2 - 3 person effort.

I did my own by myself and it was easy. Walk the bucket off the pallet, unbolt the mainframe from the pallet and carefully tip it over to the ground. Install the two loader brackets to the tractor and hook up the hoses. With the tractor setting beside the mainframe, hook the hoses up to the tractor and let the hydraulics raise the mainframe to the install position. The unhook the tractor and drive it around to the "install position" and install the main frame. You might need to have someone hold the front of the mainframe down until you get it installed on the tractor but after the bucket is installed, this will be enough weight. This method will only work on the 200cx and 210 loader, it will not work on the 200x.

Sounds good. I will try the procedure you are talking about after I get the bolt I broke out of the Frame! :C
