I am having to replace the disc on my spreader. I am putting the vanes/paddles whatever you call them, on and it appears there is a variety of angles you can put them on. You can direct them forward, or backward, in the rotational arc. I am curious what making them one notch more agressive will do? Any help appreciated!

I THINK that setting them to a more forward angle will throw a little further, but with less even pattern. Setting them back would throw less, but spread more. I hope that makes sense. Mike
