Sewer Pipe Mortar

Found this on another forum. Sure would be fun, until you ran out of bowling balls. Can anybody tell me what kind of pipe this is?

Schedule 80 steel pipe (8") would have 1/2" wall thickness................chim

Thats some serious artillery. Brings back memories of the potato cannons we made as kids. 5 ft. of 2" PVC, 1 ft of 4" PVC, a couple of fittings, a can of WD40, a can of ether, a BBQ grill lighter, 2 sacks of large potatos(1 is never enough). Assemble the ingrdients shown and add 3 18 yr olds and a case of Bud and watch the show!
