I remember reading a book called Shackletons valliant voyage.well over 20 yrs ago the fact that I remember it so well implies to me it was a good book and I recommend it if people still read books

The story was amazing. Stuck in ice Feb-Nov. Ship crushed and sinks. Camp on the ice until the following April. Sail lifeboats for 5 days to an island. Leave your guys behind. Navigate a 20' lifeboat 800 miles in 15 days to another island. Walk 32 miles through mountains in 36 hours. Convince the government of. Chili to loan you a tug. Go back 800 miles and rescue your guys on August 30. No lives lost.

Many say the pictures are incredible, I’ve only seen one picture of the sunken ship, but I’m sure in the future we will get to see many more.
