The certainty of getting caught is more of a deterrent than severity of punishment.

Spot on... Fireworks are totally banned but it is a war zone here with dozens of fires already... Destruction of public property illegal but done with impunity recently... Vehicles blowing through stops illegal as is driving 100+ mph but is the norm.. just a sign of the times

I think a lot of people are changing side to become patriotic. The massive amount of celebration of the 4the is freaking the Libtards out. It is not a good indicator of what will happen to them in November. Chicago was lit up all night. I think people are fed up.

Absolutely and positively not and this is a fairly common occurrence. The Amish pick up and move buildings all the time. They just bolt metal rails to the inside so everyone can get a good grip, brace the openings, do the math on the number of people needed and schedule the time. Then, they pick it up and move it. It's no big deal for them.

There are videos I posted in this thread earlier of a building being moved.

I'd guess this method makes a lot lighter "footprint" (literally and figuratively) than any vehicular moving method would also.
