Driving along on a county highway yesterday I came upon a truck pulling a deckover trailer with a T650 sized skidsteer on it and not a strap in sight. Fortunately for me I was just approaching a big curve that he had made it through. Glad we didn't meet on the curve.
I do not care how good of a driver a person is, a incorrectly secured load is a hazard. Seems to me the whole purpose of securing a load is to handle the unexpected. There’s lots and lots of unexpected circumstances out there![]()
There are circumstances that don't require a load to be "secured" to the point that it can shaken upside down without coming loose.
How do you protect from an airplane falling out of the sky on the tow vehicle?
A good driver takes speed, weather, road conditions, traffic, & MANY other things into consideration when transporting anything.
