Which bed gets used every day?

snt0ltsizq0d1.jpeg

Yeah! And they both have four wheels! So they're identical, right??

I'm sure the cargo capacity, towing capacity, off-road capability, people-hauling capability, comforts/amenities, crash protection and all those other minor details don't change anything, right? People who make posts like that are going to give me whiplash from having to shake my head so much.

i think it was focused more on the urban truck owner whose truck bed has never been opened no less used.
Unlike most people on here whose trucks are used as trucks.

I have a jeep GC, most others in my area are surprised when they see it out in the field, or filled with mulch or plants or scrap or....

The little truck is probably a full out work truck.

lol... Whenever I see these posts, I want to just dare the poster to try driving the tiny one on I-95 in the northeast. You will never taste death so closely, as driving that thing in heavy traffic at 80 mph on a road perpetually overdue for re-paving.

Take another look at the photo. That's inner-city urban. Likely a tradesman, in the little guy.

Likely a guy who wants to project a macho image and has never removed that bed cover, for the big one.

Agree the little one doesn't belong on the Interstate! 😬

Sure, but just how often are those capabilities actually used?
Most of the people that buy those option loaded, over priced trucks rarely use it for anything other than to impress the neighbors and haul the kids to soccer or gymnastics practice.
I love to laugh at those guys loading 8, 10 or 12 foot lumber in one of the trucks.

I see a lot of really pretty F250's, with flawless paint and stupid low-profile tires set wider than the truck body. Lots of them are diesel, some with smoke stacks in the bed, and none will be used for hauling more than a new clothes dryer or a few bags of potting soil... before wiping the bed down clean. Stupid.

I only have a 1500, that is used for hauling 40,000 - 50,000 lb. of firewood per year, and towing boats nearly every weekend in the summer, along with the occasional mulch, gravel, and taking the tractor over to the church or a friend's house to do work. It looks inadequate, but it will haul more under my ownership than probably 95% of the "Heavy Duty" trucks parked next to it at the grocery store, any given Sunday night.

So in one picture you’ve decided the guy with the black pickup is a cowboy wanna be that keep up with his payments. I see an electrician who just wants to keep his tools dry. Not really but you get my point.
