It’s hilarious when in a movie the “hero” outruns the blast from an explosion. Thats somewhere between 5000’ and 25000’ per second.

Must be wearing the right shoes.

Likely had auto-steer on without the obstacles mapped out in the field layout. Farmer was either not paying attention or fell asleep. These tractor auto-steer systems are smart enough to even turn around at the end of the field and keep going. But they are only as good as the data fed into the map. The tractors using auto-steer (probably) don't have any forward-facing sensors.

We were headed in a woods road last Friday when we met a camp owner coming the other way, pulling a John Deere tractor on a trailer. That was OK... the scary part was his two kids sitting in the tractor seat.
