Yikes! This is reason enough to learn how to ride dirtbikes before ever sitting your behind on a street bike. Had he stood up and tackled that single whoop with his weight over the rear tire there would have been a chance of powering through perhaps. Still not a great place to be. Nice tuck and roll at the end though.

I knew a guy several years ago that collected old bikes. He said they were worth a lot in Mexico and after he had a good amount collected, he would go sell them there and make a lot of $. Idk how that turned out.

Noticed a backyard that was accumulating bikes... it was next to a apartment I managed...

One day there was police activity... come to find out the 11 year old boy was a one person crime spree and had stolen over 100 bikes...

Absolutely incredible and more so that his mother never raised an issue.

Still remember when I came home with a bike at age 12... a friend was selling it and I bought it with lawn mowing money.

My father drove me over to their house that night to make sure it was on the up and up which it was.

By the way that kid graduated to breaking and entering... was in and out of Juvenile Hall and nothing seemed to stick due to his age...

Last I heard is he broke into a drug house and was beaten senseless...
