Yep I would be switching day care providers as fast as possible!
I was performing the annual test on a fire alarm system in a daycare years ago. I went up a six foot ladder to test a smoke detector. As I was starting to come back down, a two year old toddler had followed me up.

I told the kid "No honey, you can't be up on the ladder with me, you need to go back down". Kid went back down the ladder, me following suit behind the kid.

The director of the place balled me out for telling the kid "No" and "can't".

I had to really bite my tongue since it was a customer

I was doing a service call years ago in downtown Hamilton. I leaned over to pick up my heavy toolcase and narrowly missed having my head removed by a Bus. I guess when your time is up, it's up. Or you could wear a helmet 24/7. Then a house may land on you. There is a guy that comes into my friends shop, for steel, and he is always wearing a hard hat. I saw him at the grocery store with his wife, wearing the same head gear! Too funny!

She may be beating him....it is on the rise.

I get irritated at the sight of a bike rider wearing a helmet! When I was four or five, riding the biggest tricycle that Canadian Tire sold, I had a rope and maybe ten ton hook wrapped around the handle bars. Long story short, going at a good clip down grade on a concrete side walk, hook goes into front wheel spokes, I go *** over tea kettle, head hits concrete, blood everywhere! No ER visit. Walk it off!

What's with these bubble wrapped people?

Wow, that explains a lot!

It’s great when the truckers just say f it and keep going.
It is fun to fantasize about such things, but I wouldn't want to live in a world where this stuff is commonplace. Most of the YouTube videos of this kind of behavior take place in countries where I wouldn't want to live.

Having driven these huge beasts for years, it is quite clear to me that the Corolla edged into the truck driver's blind spot. There is no way the truck driver would see the Corolla cutting in from that angle, and starting from a standstill with 1500 lb.-ft. or more of torque, there is no way he could feel the drag of the car. Being a big truck, the local authorities would probably be drug testing the truck driver and impounding the truck for a mechanical inspection.
