They are saying it was due to the weather...lol

That doesn't seem right. The damage would be far more severe. Besides, I have seen many bridge strikes on youtube and never once seen the truck end up on it's side. Unless, he was going slow and at an angle, and with his bed up. Makes no sense.

Some sanders require the box to be raised a bit to get the sand to the back. He may have raised it a bit too much.

Exactly - no bad weather, no salt/sand. No salt/sand no reason to raise the bed therefore it is all the weathers fault! LOL
