Florida tidal swing is pretty small in many areas - only 1.5 feet or so.

Boston Harbor is around 10 feet, and in parts of Maine it can be 20 feet! BIG problem..... Only saw one sinker last season, though, a pickup.

A problem with this setup is that the venturi effect of wind blowing over the straw may empty his drink as he drives along...though turbulence behind the 'Vette may prevent this from happening.
