If it's like it looks (a 4wd pickup locked into 4wd with the rear driveline disconnected), it should hold up as long as it's not abused.

Aaron Z

The front end wasn’t meant to continuously pull the entire vehicle plus a load.

I'm no mechanic... Is there a way to switch the rear drive train to the front? This guy had no problem going up some steep inclines.

Don't they do that sort of thing for some special rigs for moving airplanes around? I seem to recall pictures that had something to do with seaplanes and 4wd trucks with only front axles. But I think those are for yard use only, not freeway.

It wouldn’t make any difference to the motor and transmission . I’d worry about the durability of the front axle and associated parts. You can get a heavier one but no the rear axle can’t be used on the front because it doesn’t steer.

The drive chain in the transfer case is not strong enough either.

I doubt it has very good brakes either. They were probably barely adequate to start with and he took off one axle.

Around here the Riviera chassis was popular for floatplane tugs. Later the K-Cars were used a lot.

Man, this takes the cake...towing a long singlewide trailer with a pickup on small country roads....around corners??????!!!!!!!!!!! PS...warning....smoking trucks, tempers, and broken drive shafts will be seen.

These pickups towing a single wide is the wildest thing you'll see on the internet today

The best part: "Update theyæ±*e still out there trying to pull it. Also apparently the guy pulling the trailer originally in the video only has 1 leg and the Cummins is a manual"

Also, it appears to be a dove tail single wide.
