I have seen a dog (without a harness) fall out of the back of a moving pickup truck.
Please don't do this.

Back in the early eighties I saw a dog ride on top of a fuel tank in the back of a half ton that had artificial turf on it - from Saskatchewan down to central OK for the wheat harvest. That dog loved being up there with her head pointing over the cab. We had to call her down when it was raining or some other condition but the wind didn't bother her.

Look closer they are not on the car. They are behind it. Likely on a trailer. 3 stacks is 12 feet. And they are on something flat. Look how straight they are.
