So the excursion may make sense but the only reason to do it on a truck would be too much tongue weight? By adding weight (dolly) is there any possible way the trailer stays within safe maximum to weight? Also can't imagine what now happens with a failure of a tire on the dolly. Seems like a super bad idea.
From the half you can see I'm guessing it's only 20-25' long. A modern one that size wouldn't top 8k lbs, easily half ton towable. Might have payload issues, but not horrible. Isn't the red tow dolly/pick up bed being towed backwards?
