Being it was video I wonder if it was intentional. Or just a moron on the fork lift.

Looks like the truck owner filming, given how close to the truck they are. I'm guessing they and forklift driver devised this plan to avoid dealing with the tailgate (stuck?) and or to avoid hand loading anything. Quite idiotic, though.

Lift driver tilted the forks as he stopped which made the load topple better. Intentional.

This was my thinking as well. The convo afterwards probably wasn't very pleasant though.

My guess is he didn't want it stacked vertical because of height vs turns / toppling forces, so he actually wanted it on its side as the height of the load wasn't much less than the length of the trailer. Also, even loading from the back without that lawnmower ramp I don't think they could get the pallet far enough forwards to keep the trailer from wagging.

Looks like 16 layers of 5 bags each, I think those are 2 cubic foot bags... so about, 35-40 pounds per bag = 2800-3200 pounds

I think that's a 3500 gvwr trailer at max, so that load even gingerly placed precisely would've probably been close to overloading it.

Instead, they dropped it from about 8+' up (looking at the middle of the stack); breaking out my ancient (and very likely faulty) knowledge of physics and crusty math, I think that drop is equivalent to about a 7500 pound static load.

That looks really top heavy.

But all Ford trucks are top heavy. The owners all have big heads. :ROFLMAO:
It looks more like a Ram on the tailgate, not the Ford badge.
