Should be, like the Amish carriages. Whatever roadway rules apply to them.

Around here (Central NY) they do pretty much whatever they want. Some seriously tragic accidents much too much often.

I'm going to post a few photos that I feel belong here. I may be taking a loose interpretation on this thread, but I think you'll all let it slide.

To start with, something that may not necessarily be wrong, but it sure isn't right.



Now these two, they're towing, and they're wrong.



I was sorting through old photos and came upon these, figured I'd pass them along.

They're photos I'd taken and uploaded to Facebook. Before deleting my Facebook account I downloaded a backup, and slowly have been organizing them on my computer.

This is me towing, and it's wrong, but mostly due to how goofy the trailer looks behind this truck.



You could argue it's wrong due to the lack of a secured load, and you'd be right- but I was going a mile down the road at a snails pace, so I wasn't too worried.

If you look closely, can you spot anything he did right? Nope, me either...

A hosler did something similar at a local Amazon distribution center. He also took the poles out. But because he had the front of the trailer up high, due to the lift fifth wheel, he didn't hit the bottom of the trailer first. And he was going faster.

Yeah, he kept driving, if I ever did something like that I probably would to, hopefully to turn resignation papers in. maybe he had to unload at a place without a loading dock available lol.

Quick tip always watch your trailer axle/tires when making turns/ should have stopped when the driver realized his trailer axles were in a line to hit the bollards.imo

Lot of hack job towing going on in this video. All of the sierra mountains are absolutely CRUSHED by snow right now. Not sure I've seen sno above the power lines before. Too much snow to go skiing! bummer.

They used to close these passes in the 80s and 90s and I guess they forgot about doing this since they have not had heavy snows in years.
Totally mismanaged and no learning from history. Like what happened to the Donner party.
