Now that's stupid. Before jacking it up into change a tire or do brakes is put it in 4WD and set the brake. I would much rather have 4 3 tires holding than 1 when I'm on the ground frogging around.

The problem is, on a new vehicle with full-time 4 wheel drive (like a Chevy with a differential in the transfer case) that won't do anything.
