I wish I could make the sound of a whip cracking.
It would be for all you guys getting whipped with a wet noodle by your wives.
But I like it :ROFLMAO:
In our case it's it divide the chores, she gets garden, chickens and rabbits. I get cattle, dogs, cats and yard work. I hunt and forage stuff she processes it and turns it to real home cooking.
Argue too much and I'll be the one gutting the next dead thing. 😲

It's all about perspective!

I have to do all the gutting and skinning. Doesn't bother me to do it. Once the animal has been turned into "just meat" (skinned and quartered), she's fine with cutting the quarters into roasts or steaks or cutting up stew meat. But she won't help while it's still "whole", with the head on and still able to "look" at her. Lol.

She's always willing to help with the gardening, weeding and fall leaf cleanup. I'm quite content to come by with either the riding mower pulling the garden cart, or if she's really tearing into it, the tractor with fel, to pick up what she's piling up. Small piles go in the burn barrel, large piles go to the dump.

Shortly after my sister got married she had a phone conversation with my wife about how wonderful her new husband was. "He helps with the housework. Why even as we speak, he is upstairs vacuuming."

My wife looked out the kitchen window to see me in waders, knee deep in the proverbial as I was connecting a new leeching trench to the fieldstone cesspool that came with our 200 YO house and replied. "We have arrived at a division of labor that suits me fine."

+1 on that. I have 3 wheelbarrows, a fairly heavy duty one that was my father's, a fairly new one with a poly tub and a light duty one I found at the dump 40-odd years ago that my wife uses when gardening. All 3 get used. Tractor loader gets used for stuff larger or heavier than I want to deal with using a wheelbarrow.
Yep. I have two 'barrows. I don't think I've used either, since I moved out here three years ago. I've moved them around the barn, but they're always empty.

Why would someone be videoing this duffus, just walking in the store. I cry FOUL!
Many years ago, at the Showboat Hotel in Las Vegas , we were installing new tile in the yogurt shop near front entrance across from the sports-book. 12am-9am shift. We needed to run an extension cord across the carpeted walkway from the sports-book for power. It was mandatory to cover it with red duct tape for a noticeable and smooth transition. Not many people during the wee hours on a weekday. it was about 2am coffee break. We watched a man and a woman walk passed the sportsbook entrance several times Over about a 5 min time span. On the last pass the woman through her purse and drink in the air and fell on the floor screaming. Those of on break started laughing at the overacting. Security team arrived, ambulance arrived, fire truck arrived, and finally a maintance crew arrived to remove our only source of power. I walked over to inform the security guard that this was a setup by those two. He said not to worry or get involved, that this was a regular occurrence and it was all on video. They had a routine that they needed to go through. The next night we had power in the work area and a new adventure with a nice fellow who stopped to admire our work and chat with us while pissing in one our water buckets. Story for another time I suppose…

Ever since I got a tractor with a front end loader my "barrows" have been "unemployed".

It's scary what some people will do. Some years back we did a project for the local power company and one thing covered at their mandatory safety meeting was to not accept food or drinks from the public. It seems that a woman who lives by one of their projects was always coming over and chatting. One day she brought them homemade cookies... laced with antifreeze.
