Related - Bozo brought a long heavy 14k trailer down the wrong side of the house, delivering a 300 lb water tank.

Then he couldn't back out, no traction.

We unhitched it and I tried pulling the trailer uphill with the Yanmar. Just barely made it after several tries. I think the trailer's air brake was engaged, but Bozo insisted no.

A 14k trailer has air brakes? Thats the first I’ve ever seen.

I can spot a fake photo when I see one.

Everybody knows that it doesn't rain in California.

But when it rains it pours…

6 to 7 months dry and then comes winter when it rains.

Mid November and have not turned on the furnace…

Growing up the only time Dad would heat the house was Thanksgiving and Christmas when the elderly would come to join us…

Electric brakes, yes.
Ok, electric brakes are more likely. Whatever.

Bozo insisted the trailer had no brakes but something kept that trailer from rolling back each time I unhooked to pull in a different direction. It was miserable out there in that cold rain and I was this close to telling Bozo to just call AAA.

Then next day I discovered he had done like the descriptions above, cutting too sharp getting back onto the county road, making his trailer's tire tracks for some 15 ft in the roadside ditch.

I can spot a fake photo when I see one.

:p!
I recall saying that when I flew down to SoCal to do an audit and there was so much unexpected rain that the freeways were flooded. Pure chaos, everything slippery. And nobody slowing down.

But my all time favorite phrase when I visited contractors to verify their costs claimed for reimbursement was: "I'm from the Government! I'm Here to Help You!" :D Their instinctive reaction gave me a good idea whether this was just shared humor, or, rarely, an Oh S*** moment for them, no records. Reimbursement denied.

You can try setting a couple of pylons where you don't want them to drive.

Just don't expect them to last very long. You'll never guess how I know that. Thankfully I have lots of them.
Years ago I worked for a fence company. We had one customer (car lot) where we installed a dumpster enclosure.

FedEx driver kept hitting the gate for the dumpster when he would do a delivery.

The customer was getting mad, and I was getting sick of replacing a latch post used to hold the gate open.

FedEx driver would pull up, back up across the lawn to make his deliveries easier.

Well when I was out resetting the latch post.... again, the FedEx truck pull up and backs right across where I was working.

While the driver was away, I measured from his bumper to the ground.

After he left, I pulled a piece of 4" sch 80 galvanized pipe off the truck.

I buried the auger for the dingo unit boring the hole for the pipe.

I then set that post 2" lower than his bumper. Poured 3 bags of concrete around the base of the pole, filled the pole pull of concrete. And then tapped on the trim cover.

FedEx backed onto the lawn 1 more time. Caught that post and jacked up the exhaust for the truck.

The customer had no more issues with a delivery across their lawn, they didn't have to reset that post ever again, and the next time FedEx delivered to them, they had a new driver.

I’d pay good money to watch you drive a 53 ft trailer off a 2 lane road that’s only 20ft wide into a 15ft wide driveway without running off the pavement. That’s impossible. If I’m pulling my 30ft gooseneck into my 30ft driveway I have to steer the truck off the opposite side of the road to get crossways in the road as I can before ever starting the turn and steer the truck off the far side of the driveway to not hit the culvert with the trailer. If dump trucks are coming into my 20 ft wide construction driveways they have to make several pull up and backwards attempts to get in. I had a septic tank delivered on a tandem axle Volvo and that truck could flat turn. My single axle Volvo will also flat turn around. My Ford 350 doesn’t come close to the same radius.
I have a 20ft wide driveway and had to lay blocks in the ditch for them to be able to make the turn into our driveway when we had our 36ft fifth wheel camper delivered.

We needed about another 3ft of width.

We do have another two entrances, the first one is right off the road I put a 25ft culvert in ditch, gravel on top, in about 30 ft. to an open 1.5 acre level field I keep cut. That's where anything can enter no problem.

These days most trucks are fitted with "feelers" that detect the drawbar and set off an alarm so you don't bend the drawbar.
Ive been out of the industry for 15 years, but ive never heard of feelers or warning systems. Just good old workmanship.

I know about the North American style turntable steered pup dumptrailers. Here in Holland we only have semi-trailers or rigid 50 ton dumptrucks.

In eastern Europe they haul dirt a lot with combinations, the trucks are equipped with three sides tippers so they dont have to dump over the drawbar.
