What's that they say, you can't see the forrest for the trees. It's hard to get a pic. of 711 ac. of woods so most of our pictures end up being of the "river". Our back "line" is 2+ miles of this river. Fall & winter photo's of the same view. Then there's one picking wild cranberries in the canoe.:licking: It's about a mile and a half ride down there from our house on our various logging roads, so don't forget the ketchup the cookout at the camp. My avatar is the "comfort station" there.

Rustyiron, is the Lakes Region along #9 Highway between Calais and Bangor by any chance? #9 Highway is the way We travel down to Bangor.Beautiful drive in the fall.

I think aerial views are great, I also download satellite views which then show any change building, brush hogging, planting, etc

The deck overlooks the river, which is muddy because it is up from the rain in the first photo. Then a aerial view of a portion of the terrain, which can be treacherous. Then my road that winds along the river on a snow day. Last is my new firewood locations, and the dogs of course.
