Shear Pins source

Is there a place to get shear pins in quanity, from what I have read so far, I will need to have a supply before I start my (Wifes) fence project.
I ordered a Gearmore D20 for my Mahindra 2015 HST today.

My local feed/farm store has bins of all different types and sizes of pins.

If you have a TSC close by they sell bolts in bulk. Just make sure you get the right grade. Some use Grade 5 and some grade 2. I think mine are 5/16x3 1/2 grade5.

Most shear pins are just regular bolts, like said in previous post check size and grade. Any hardware store should be able to help you out.

I usually just buy the basic 1/2" grade 2 bolts at Home Depot.

Just some bolt info. SAE Hex bolts have a basic grade as grade 2 and no marks on the head. The grade is stamped as 2 + number of lines on the head. 3 lines equal a grade 5. 5 lines equal grade 8.

Thank you, after reading the post lastnight about common grade 2, I went and looked up "grading bolts".
Now waiting on unit to get here to detirmine what size I am going to need to buy.

OK, I was testing you to see if you were really reading the post. I used my calculator and yes 5 + 2 = 7. I guess that should be 6 lines on the head.
