I needed an extra 10" in height on the entry to the tractor shed. Used old windows and door hinges and a rod to raise and lower the windows and a rod to slide the window latch. Works great. Now I can get some more seat time. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

You can always use cheap shed windows. They are usually single pane glass, unlike windows for houses.
