I was mowing the other day and it got bogged down just a bit and eventually lost power. Upon trying to restart I couldn't get it started, it would turn over and puff alot of black thick smoke but just wouldn't start. The sound when it tried to start was normal but after about 10 seconds of cranking the noise would weaken, almost if the battery was weak. It has a new battery however I hadn't used the tractor for a few months. When it was running it ran fine, but burns a little oil as it has a decent amount of blow by. I didn't have my jumper cables thinking it was the battery going weak but I am going back to farm tomorrow to see if I can get it started. Any advice on what to check as I have limited cell access there.
