Hey folks:

As I understand it, the SU1341 does not have a standard 540 PTO and has some sort of 2-pt hitch that can be converted to 3-pt hitch without too much difficulty. Many of these seem to come with the Shibaura 2-pt tiller. These seem to sell at quite a discount since it's missing the standard PTO.

So, here's a few questions. Does anyone know the hydraulic flow/pressure from the onboard pump? I'm assuming it's enough to run a loader...is it enough to run a small backhoe (like in 4-6 gpm)? Obviously, you can't use a PTO pump since it's doesn't have a standard PTO. Does anyone know if, after converting the 2-pt hitch to a 3-pt hitch, that leaves you unable to use the 2-pt tiller, or is that dependent on how you do the conversion? Any other thoughts on the SU1341 as a economical loader/mini-hoe/tiller runnin' machine?

TIA!
Dave

I believe that the pto on that model also turns backwards making it useless for anything but the tiller. Sorry, don't know much else about it.

I would build a subframe for the backhoe. It would have enough pressure to run a backhoe & probably enough gpm for a small hoe. To change back & forth between tiller & 3 point may require removing the tiller mounting bracket.
