Shibaura tractor (unknown everything)

I have recently been given a Shibaura tractor S 2000. I致e done hours an hours and hours and hours of foot work on the Internet and have gone to a local tractor supply warehouse and they do not show that this model exist my engine block is C201-500046 4 cylinder diesel and they say that that doesn稚 exist can anybody help me. Thanks.

If it is a Shibaura 4 cylinder diesel, the tractor model should be a Shibaura ST440 or ST445. TractorData.com Shibaura ST44 tractor information

The chassis on the ShibauraST440/445 tractors is very similar if not identical to the Ford/New Holland 1920/2120.

Tire sizes
2wd or 4wd

If it is a 4 cyl diesel it is at least a 38hp

It runs fine trying to do maintenance on it it has been sitting for a while. Jurying to find reference material and could not find anything under S 2000 nor with the block numbers. Completely new to this realm so basically starting from scratch

Shibaura's have a reputation for being well made tractors. I have had 2 - a 15hp Shibaura and a 40hp New Holland (Made by Shibaura). Both bullet proof.

The label photo shows IHI-Shibaura. This combination shows to have began in the 1950’s. In a quick search I did not find when a name change happened again but did find reference to projects with Ford (later New Holland) and also with Yanmar for the AF series of tractors.
Can you get a number off of your oil filter and cross reference it.
Air filter can probably be matched either by cross reference or careful measurements to length and diameter.
In an external hydraulic filter-cross reference is probably best route. Not all models have an external hydraulic filter and even most imports have a cleanable suction screen that is removable and reusable. A huge caution these screens are located low in the hydraulic reservoir so expect a huge fluid dump if not drained first. Follow the suction hose(s) from the pump, the cover plate will be opposite the suction hose on the differential.
I am sure there is info out there, but if a limited gray brought to the US, it may be difficult to locate.

It is for sure a 4 cylinder - just a slightly smaller frame than I would have thought. You will have a nice tractor when it gets a little TLC.

How many speed transmission does it have?'
Does the 3 point hitch work?
Does the PTO work?
Does it have rear hydraulic connections?
