You will see there is a cam assembly between the lever and the transmission. LUBE THAT.
Shift to Neutral on BX2200????

My BX2200 was getting too hard to get out of low range, so much so that something had to be done. A bit of searching lead my to this thread. Love TBN 
As per this thread a few shots of WD-40 and it actually glides between the settings. When I do some serious servicing I plan to take off the rear wheel on that side, clean up the WD40 mess and put a bit of grease on the cam!
