After looking over many of the posts here about filling tires and fixing flats I began to wonder, are the Kubotas delivered with or without tubes? Makes a difference with what I need in the field to fix a flat when I get one. I want to be prepared so that I keep down time to a minimum.

If tubeless, are you guys just plugging them and how well does that work?

I guess it depends . . ./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif My '95 B7100 was delivered with Goodyear tubeless tires all the way around, but my '99 B2710 was delivered with Goodyear tubeless on the front and Firestone tube type tires on the rear. I never did remember to ask the dealer about it, but just suspected that maybe Kubota was putting type type tires on the rear in case customers wanted to put calcium in them. And I put Amerseal in all the tires on the B7100 and never had a flat. On the B2710, I got a mesquite thorn in one of those front tubeless tires and plugged it myself; never had any more problem with it.

My experience is in line with Bird's. I used a friend's L2500 and got two flats. (Stupid guy, not me, kept driving through construction debris despite warnings. It cost him $110 to have a guy come out and fix the rear tire and $60 for the front tire.) The fronts did not have tubes but the rears did and were filled with fluid. I later purchased a B2410 and the fronts were tubelss and I beleive the rears with Tubes filled with fluid. Within 5 hours, I had one of the front tires pop off its bead. I would prefer tubes all the way around as I could fill a completely deflated tire on site with a compressor (or repair for that matter). Tubless require substantial pressure and airflow when dismopunted from the bead. The dealer did come right out and put on a brand new rim and tire after tire came off its bead. I beleive you can put a tube in just about any tire. You just have to change the stem opening. Hope this helps.

My B-7500 came with the fronts tubeless. I had a slow leak in both and had tubes installed no problems since/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
