Im an electrician and even I went with a propane heater in my shop. An electric heater would take way too long to heat the shop. My unit can get my UNINSULATED shop up to 70F in 10 minutes or so. Mind you is a 125,000 BTU unit. But i want it heated up FAST to a working temp while im in there for an hour or so. I dont keep it heated.Some day..before i retire, i plan on emptying the shop and insulating the entire thing. Problem is everytime i get in the mood to do it.....i go out and look at the shop, then turn around and go sit in front of the TV,.... HEHE
