Shop Vacs

Fein's the best that I've found. Only problem I've had with it is the wife keeps taking it to the house to clean up there. I imagine that when I get her horse barn built in the next couple of years she'll acquire it permanently.

Ridgid gets my vote too. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Good stuff at reasonable prices. Besides the vac, I also have a saw and sander by them. They are now owned by Emerson Electric, and from what I've been lead to understand, used to make some of the better Craftsman brand large power tools before Sears pullled the rug out from under them, and went offshore for their supplier.

I also own a small ShopVac. I won't be buying another. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I got a shop vac 5hp that has the drain at the bottom for Christmas. I haven't had it that long, but it seems to work OK. It needs a little more suction but it is fairly quiet.
Do not buy a Genie. Hose is cheap and pinches and reeeaaallll!! noisy. I burned it up in Nov. after having it about 3 years. Never did like the thing.
