I just had the luxury of running a TN75VA today as my sprayer pump died and I ended up using my friends rig. If any of you guys have seen a V series TN you will know how narrow it is but if you haven't you will have to check out the pics on NH's site as I didn't have time to take pictures today.
Anyway, the tractor ran great. It has around 350 hours, 2wd and cab. The only job this tractor has is to run a 400 gallon Turbo-Mist sprayer from Slimline. It is kind of fun running this tractor up and down the grape rows as you are so narrow it is like running thru the grapes without touching them. However, with it being so narrow comes the only issue with this tractor. It is not designed for wide people. I am 6' tall and 210 pounds and my hips would hit the fenders on both sides of the seat as you are crammed in so tight. All of the controls are buried under your legs and you have no room to move your legs once you are inside so it is a fight to reach some of the levers. Also, being so narrow this tractor has a lot of side to side roll as you go over bumps and thru pot holes and be careful if you have any deep ruts as it will wake you up. But that is really all there is negative about the V series TN's.
The bright side is once you get inside the cab you can sit there all day as it is actually very comfortable. You kind of feel like part of the machine as everything is so close to you. The AC works very well in the narrow cab but the radio has a short somewhere and kept fading in and out with the volume (it might have just been the radio). The tractor turns extremely sharp which is nice but you have to be careful as a 400 gallon sprayer doesn't turn as sharp.
This tractor does not feel anywhere near as stable as the TN-F series but it is designed for narrow work so you have to accept the limitations for a specialty tractor.
I will try to get pictures one of these days and will post them when/if I do.
