Being this is a Vent thread :
I'ts my turn now, I don't like Walmart never have, but at times have taken the wife there and to kill time I'll go check out there automotive, hardware & sports dept, the few times I have ask the sales person for help or a question, they do NOT stop what there doing to answer, I don't know about you folks but when I'm talking to someone I like for people to whom I'm talking with to stnd up and look me eye to eye, Most people I've talked to at Wmart just keep doing what there doing or turn there back to you while taking off down a isle, I suppose I'm to fallow him/her, But IMHO I think they should connect with me or acknowledge that they heard me, before just taking off down the isle,
and when you thank him/her their reply is
" No Problem " what ever happen to ( Your quite welcome ) . another place I have experience rude service is Autozone,
once while looking for something there I came upon someone stocking the shelfs, I ask if he worked there or was just stock person?,
His answer was (" is that a trick question ") again IMHO he should have answer one or the other, or ask what he could help me with?
I walked away and walked out the door, I must have been showing some irritation because as i was walking toward the door a man from behind the counter ask was there something wrong? I simply said yes there is and walked on out the door, This employee fallowed me out and stopped me at my car to ask what happened? I kindly told him about the comment the stock guy replied to me after me asking him did he work there or was a stock man,... this other employee told me that the guy was an actual employee there as well, and asked that I please do report him to management, because that man always has an attitude, and that I wasn't the first to walk out because of him,
I'm not one to try make things dificult for others so i didn't report him, But what I did do is walk back into the store and ask that man to talk with me a few minutes, I suggest to him that I don't know how long he has worked with the public but if he wants to continue working out in front as a public relations person he needs to simmer down on his attitude and smart ***** coments, I told him he was very unprofessional with what he replied to me, He just Blowed me off, I again shook my head and walked away, 2 weeks later I returned to get something and asked about this employee, I was told he no longer works there, Oh well, too bad I said !
Don't get me wrong, I understand human nature and I'm sure there was something about that mans life that was not at ease, Perhaps going through a devorce, who really knows! what ever it was I was'nt the one who was going to make it any worst for him, I hate it that he lost his job, maybe his next job will keep him out from the public, maybe warehouse work or something he can do by himself giving him time to think and reflect on his life and future,
