I have a dumb add-on question to my thread... as I'm pricing online with the kubota pricing tool I noticed the loader add-ons includes buckets..... the base loader has a bucket right?
Yep, FEL comes with bucket. Sometimes a choice of buckets on Bs and up tractors. Tractor dealers have busy periods of time if they serve the farming community and if they do that is their bread and butter with small land yard owners the dessert. Farmers have to have it when the season and weather is right. I've bought almost 30 Kubotas from Barlows in Somerset, Ky and during haying season I wait my turn or come back when they have time. I can bring them a machine and unload it and it will be serviced in order after the emergency hay harvester who pays more for attachments than I do for tractors.
I was ignored by the dealer on my first research trip and declared to myself I'd never go back but after pricing and seeing $2500 to $3000 cheaper at Barlows vs Blue and Green and other orange I returned and waited my turn almost 30 times plus many other visits for information and implements and supplies and some times just to look and visit when business was slack.
All dealers pay the same price for a new Kubota and the dealer decides how much profit he/she wants to make so decide which B (Ground clearance, 3 speed, good fan and easier to service) you want and what implements and visit two or three dealers or call some within an area your willing to travel to save a thousand or two or three. Dealers prefer to sell what they have on hand so the trip to the lot is usually the best idea and wander around and see if you can find what you want. Not like car/truck dealers at all. Totally different financing program. Kubota usually owns the machines on a dealers lot until the dealer gets a contract of sale and that's when the dealer decides sell price to include their profit. Not unusual to get a thousand or two dollars difference from different dealers and same machine. The smallest utility L is smaller or closer to the ground than a B2650. Go get on them before you nail it down to one specific machine. Higher seat off the ground is scarier on hillsides even though people will tell you the tractor is more stable and backhoe makes them all tippier unless one takes certain precautions.
