I'll throw a bit more fuel to the fire here.

( I did however upgrade to the quick attach woods 1012 loader because i liked the heavier lift capacites, 1375lbs at the pivot and 3050lbs of breakout force, )

This is probably not true, Woods rates their loaders at a hydraulic preasure thats above what most tractors put out. I checked Kioti's site and its not listed - but I suspect its not the 2250psi that Woods uses.

The sole reason Kubota builds the L2800 is to give a budget option to compete with the likes of Kioti. There are HUGE differences between it and a L3130. You guys covered a few of them, add in higher hydraulic flow, digital dash readouts, a handful of comfort features, an engine with a better torque curve, heavier tires. There are also differnces that don't appear on paper. If you go sit in the seat and drive these tractors you'll find that the grand L's have more refined transmissions. The HST on the GL's drives much more smoothly and is heavier to keep up with the demands put on it buy the overbuild 723 loader.

Long and short of it is that there is really no 30Hp tractor on the market that can be fairly compared to an L3130. Its off the charts as 30Hp tractors go. Yes the price difference between the L2800 and L3130 is completly justifield.

It seems the point needs made again that pricing is very regional and given todays market with freight and steel prices all over the map its tough to make a fair comparision. I forget names, but the guy championing the CK30 here lives in one of the highest priced markets in the country. You need to get off your high horse here and realize that what was true for you is not always going to be true for 95% of the rest of us. As of today - Kubota sells about 40 tractors for every 1 Kioti. The market is clearly showing other results than what you are trying to present here.

Well, Westy.... I hope you got your answer /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

You need to make a list of your tasks that need to be accomplished, then find the size tractors that will do those tasks. Then shop as many brands as possible and test drive, test drive, test drive. Go with the one that you feel is right for you based on personal observances and the warm and fuzzy feeling you get from the dealer.

Then, it seems like the last few contributors got it right... sit back, relax and enjoy the beverage of your choice.

The thread, unfortunately, has turned into a grudge match and will be closed. If you would like to continue with discussions, please feel free to start another thread. Thanks. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
