Thanks to all that replied to my question. I purchased the mower today! All I can say is that I am blessed.
He told me that he bought it from an older gentlemen for $600 and he has put probably $150 bucks on top of that. He put on new blades, changed oil and filter and maybe put a new deck belt on it (not sure about the belt). You guys reaffirmed my decision to buy it.
