I have found a Isekie 1610 4 wd. Is this a decent tractor and how hard is it to get parts and implements? They are asking $1900. Thanks

VERY good price. I paid $2900 for mine and it needed some engine and front axle work. Run it more than 5 minutes and see that it doesn't have oil running out the breather like mine and some of the others on this forum. That indicates that you will need a rocker shaft and rockers (seems to be somewhat common with these), but not a big deal to buy and easy to replace....maybe why they're selling at such a low price. Make sure it starts easy and runs smooth, the 3-pt works as it is supposed to and that there is no loud gear noise or something else sounding suspicious. Check the steering for slop at the drag link and axle pivot points. Also, check to see that the front axle housing is full of 90wt oil and that it is not running down the inside of the wheels. This is a little more involved to replace seals and bushings/bearings, but I had it done by a local machine shop. Consumables like bearings, seals and filters are all available stateside at many car parts and bearing places. Tractor casting parts and specialized items are available through many grey market tractor suppliers on this forum (see the following list). The Isuzu motor parts are mostly all available at diesel engine supply houses like DESSCO on-line, and the grey market tractor dealers. So no, parts and manuals are not a problem. This is a good, heavily built tractor that will last if taken care of.

I don't know who you are dealing with, but I will say get to know him/ her b-4 you buy. There are dealers out there that will promise you the world & don't / won't deliver. Know what the warranty covers. 90 warranty or 6 mo .warranty.Some only cover power train ,while others cover entire tractor .Some can & will get out of the warranty using the term "abuse" . as in you adused your tractor & it broke & we ain't repairing it under the warranty. Rebuilt tractor from vietnam with low low #s on the hr. meter. I would advise to stay away! or run away! good luck

Thanks for all the info.I'm gonna go run it again and go over it a lot closer. I did notice what looked like a leak on the front axle but the motor started pretty easy and the 3 pt hitch and PTO worked. I need to check all the gears and let it run long enough to see if anything else looks funny. It's an individual and not a dealer thats doing the selling. It does look like its been sitting for a while. Thanks again and I'll report back what i find.
