Should I get a smaller truck?

I don't know about always, but currently I drive a 1992 truck and before that a 2000 truck that had 228000 miles when I sold it.

The only thing I can add is with my '99 2500 with the Cummins it is picky about fuel filter.The first time I changed it I tried a NAPA,which I'm sure is Wix, and could not get it ti prime. After fighting it for 2 days my neighbor, a fleet mechanic for the gas co.,came over and told me that I would have to stay with Mopar for that filter and I now have over 200,000 miles and several filters with no problem. For all the other filters I use Wix or Napa and plain old Chevron Delo 400 for oil.
