Should I keep it or not, moving to suburbs

Mike,

Ask more than it's worth when you put out a "For Sale" sign. Include something like "Will Consider Interesting Trades"...you never know, someone may have something you've always wanted...

A young man down the block and a new neighbor just purchased a Zen-Noh YM2000D...brand new with 002.6 hours on the meter. FEL, BB and 4' Shredder for $7500....oh well.

Ask her why she needs an oven and stove top to cook, when she could build a fire in the back yard and it would do the job. Or don't ask. Your choice, your consequences;).

Very valid point. She got a chuckle out of that.

Or better yet....... ask her why she needs so many pairs of shoes !!!!!! Argument over !!!!!

Unfortunately, I have more clothes AND more shoes than she does. I am a minimalist and absolutely NOT a shopper. I only own 1 nice pair of boots, 1 steel toe, maybe 3 other pair of shoes. Not sure how, but I ended up with the only woman in the world who doesn't like shoes and shopping for clothes. :D

But, that's ok... The Oven thing was enough :)

Oh no !!!!!!!!! you're letting "her" read all this?

I'm with Mark. Put it for sale, but at a price that would make you happy to sell it at. If it doesn't, you get to keep it! :)

I have done just that, its avaiable for $1495 right now. I am just waiting on the right bearings from LMTC to finish up the steering box repair. I would rather see it to a new home that can properly use it, and not have it just sit in the garage in the way all the time. If it doesnt sell, then I get to keep it, exactly. Cheers Mike

No, She's not reading it, but I did read some of the responses to her. I'm stupid, but not dumb ;)

Here is a pic of my other tractor. She is a 1965 John Deere 110rf, rf=round fender model as they also make a flat fender model 110. She has a K181 8hp kohler engine, 4 speed trans and the variator lever to give several different speeds in each main gear. The tractor is in really good condition, even the hood is super nice. I have thought about selling it and using the money to get a mower deck for the yanmar, but not sure yet. I am a JD fan when it comes down to it, the yanmar was to good a deal to pass up when I traded for it. Cheers Mike

Trust me, I would rather be in the country, but a nice house, needing absolutly nothing in the repair dept, intrest free for 15 years it will take us to purchase it from my dad, is hard to pass up!! Any other way it would mean another 15+ years living in this sh-- hole trailer park with idiot land lords and all the other issues that we have here. I would rather move to Iowa or somewhere in the plains, with enough ground to hobby farm a bit. I guess one can dream. I did get the yanmar fixed tonight, I just got in from driving around the yard and letting it run for a bit. Cheers Mike

She is for sale, first $1495 takes it. I can even possibly assist with delivery. I am downsizing all my tractor stuff in prepration to move. Just going to keep the 110rf and my sleeve hitch implments for it. I will fully outfit the little 110rf with the funds from the sale of the yanmar. I just want to see her off to a good home where she can be worked to her fully potential. Someone please give this yanmar a good home quick. Thanks Mike and Michele T
