I'd keep it. In 3-4 years when you get your property, you may end up buying some chinese pile for about as much as you paid for yours and wishing you still had your Deere.
Is there any way you can supplement your income or offset your costs by mowing fields w/ your Deere or possibly renting out to aquiantances you trust will care for it?
Run it once in a while to keep everything lubed-up.
