I recently installed an 8-footer and don't seem to have any problems...I have wide turfs and, angled, the plow swath accommodates them ...as does my 7-foot-plus rear blower

My 7' QA mounted fisher gets amusing in really deep or very wet snow. I end up steering the tractor with the power angle rather than the steering wheel..... Angle to the right means tractor travels to the left.. and so on...

Update: 30" snowfall yesterday and I had to use the TPH snowblower that is 7' wide ...the 8' blade on the front wanted to pull 6" off each side back into the canyon my blower made unless I kept the blade quite high. Had I wanted to use the blade instead of the blower, I would have had to heed the advice that used to be stenciled on Fisher plows: "plow with the storm" ...except, lights aren't working right now, so no plowing overnight...woke up to 29" in the AM, but the blower handled it in one pass ...1/2 mile uphill driveway (uphill both ways!)

Don't let them kid ya. I have 7 1/2 footer on mine and its the max I think for a small tractor like ours. With the blade angled, it seems to work great. I have tried it as a straight plow and it seems to push the little tractor around.

I have a 7.5 ft'er on a Kubota L5030HSTC, angled it can throw the tractor around. 7 ft blower on the back. If it is scrapin down well, I can plow to about 12" deep snow if the previous plowing left the banks back.

I just bought a 9 ft Boss V-plow to put on my big tractor, it will be fun to see the difference.
