For me, it's all about not bending over. I really like the wheeled planter for most of the row crops I plant, but it just didn't seem to work as well with the corn. And since the corn seed was pretty expensive, at about $10/lb, I didn't mind taking a bit longer to put in my patch....just as long as I didn't have to bend over! Actually, I think it's the straightening back up that gets me. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
