Should I return these tires?

I think Carlisle calls the tire installed by the dealer an Agriculture tire. R-4's are called Industrial tires.

The Tru-Power are considered an industrial tire. They are also an ATV tire - which is what I thought when I first saw the picture - "Ooh, that'd be great on my ATV".

Assuming the sidewall ply and load rating is adequate, I can almost assure that the Carlisles will work far better in snow than your old tires. However, they will potentially tear up the grass a little more when mowing.

If your tractor is equipped with four (4) wheel drive I would be worried about if the new tires are the same size as the ones that were on the tractor.

This is an excellent point that should NOT be overlooked. If they have a different rolling radius, I can cause accelerated wear of tires and the drivetrain, or worse, broken parts. Especially if you forget and leave it in 4wd and drive on pavement.

My issue would be the brand. I have had so many sets of Carsisle tires fail its not even funny. I have not heard or read anything good about Carsisle period.
