Should I trade my L2501

Thanks. I would like to stay with the same size footprint on a more powerful tractor. I've got a bunch of trees on part of my property and the little L2501 gets around them like a dream. It's just the open part with heavy grass that the little engine just can't keep up.

Maneuverability isn't always easy to determine without some research. I found that the largest tractor I've had turns the sharpest by measuring the circle made by the inside of the rear tires doing an "O" turn with the tractors.

I know this is an old thread but, I promised to return with the results from my L2501 Turbo system;

The tractor made 35 PTO HP. And overall, a 45% increase in power.

I can't count how many acres I've bush hogged with my 1626 but it's a shuttle shift and I have an open backed cutter.

Have you considered trying an open backed rotary cutter or possibly a flail mower?
