I know Ken Sweet and while I've never bought anything from him, we have talked in the past and I have no issues with him or his business ethic.

Common sense says, anything used is buyer beware.

I bought a drum mower from him. He found the nearest shipping hub to me for delivery. It was painless. As soon as it was delivered there got a call and went and picked it up. It was cheaper and actually more convenient for me to go pick it up then to wait all day for an expected time for home delivery.

Common sense tells me it should be seller beware, if and when I buy a used 1954 Ford sedan from a little ole lady that only drove it to church on Sundays and the she says everything is good and runs great, then after I buy it and go for a ride it falls apart, transmission full of sawdust..... The seller should pay double back the cost and or go to jail or both, same should go for buying a used tractor...........

Know nothing more than what has been posted but when I am looking at a product or company I am not familiar with normally look at the lowest ratings first. I know no company pleases everybody for a variety of reasons. I really like the companies who respond to all such postings. Bud's gun store is one who does. It can be amazing what you can learn by reading those complaints carefully. Was looking at some 8 ft led replacements for fluorescent bulbs that clearly stated you must remove the ballast. There were a few people who said none of the led bulbs worked and the fluorescents would...meaning they did not remove the ballast as was required. I also get tickled at people who will rate a product 5 stars and hope to use it soon....

I agree with this. I look at the complaints and see if they are valid complaints, or just a whiny but that just complains about everything, over and over again.

I have not met or dealt with Ken personally, but from what I know of him, I would not hesitate in dealing with him based on his reputation from those that I trust.
