Hey, you fellas with the TSC carry all, how thick is the angle that the lift pins are mounted in? I want the one I'm building strong enough without over doing it.

On my TSC carry-all it's 3/8" thick where the lift pins are attached and the rest is all 1/4".

Started with the TSC frame ......... Just put the deck boards down and used full rough cut 2 x 6 boards ... the back I used 1 x 8 shiplap boards with the top board being what looks like the top of a bar with the rounded over top edge. All the lumber being at least 50 years old.

The unit already weighs more than my poor ole Brockway will lift and I've got some 1 1/2 by 20" wide boards to make the sides and back.

Guess I'd better look for a bigger tractor.

I bought the HD 1000 lb capacity carry-all from TSC and then added some old planks. However, I found I always needed my 500lb box blade on the back of the tractor as a counter-weight and for trail maintenance. Since I have not used the carry-all in years I am selling it.

Yup...this thread inspired me to do the same. I was at TSC Saturday and picked up a 5ft rear blade AND a carry all.:thumbsup:
