Thanks Moss for sharing the pictures. I hope you start getting some rain soon. Man, your dirt does look dry up there. This pattern of heat and isolated thundershowers that never seem to hit your place, is starting to remind me of the drought years that we've had in the past.

To Mike.... don't get fooled by my pictures. I have a second garden that is looking pretty sad and I had some "do-overs" and had to replant. To top it off, I got visited by a deer last night and the rascal sampled some of my bean plants. I need to work on electric fencing this weekend !

Yeah - was very wet here, which held us up from getting the garden tilled and planted. Ever since we got everything in you could hardly buy a drop of rain around here - one couple minute long sprinkle has been all. Sure hope get something today otherwise I'll be watering ........

I've had deer tromping through the garden every night since we got it planted - apparently it's in their "traffic pattern" - they don't seem to eat anything however (knock on wood) .... so I gotta do the electric fence thing myself.

The garden is about 400' to 500' from the house, and the waterline up to the shed (100' away) isn't connected yet ... so we've been using this to bring water up to the garden. If it's full I can't lift it with my loader, but if I raise it before I fill it I can keep it a few inches off the ground while I move it up there. I put it together so we could water shrubs and plants around the property.

You know Randy you're not to far away that if my veggies don't work out I can come veggie shopping in your garden. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
